Messages and Memories

Gabriele's community was such a vital part of her life, so connecting with that community has been an immense comfort to her family. Thank you to everyone who sent a message or shared a memory!

Gabriele was one of my closest friends and I miss her so much. She introduced me to Everett Meaningful Movies and C3 and Trader's Joe where we went shopping . My most sincere condolences to her family . May your heart be filled with loving memories .

Gabriele was a dear friend who challenged us to think and learn. I enjoyed our conversations and think of them often. Her radio program was a beacon of positivity in our community. She will be missed by many, certainly by me.

I often think of Gabriele. I helped her sort books during her last move and took home some of the discards, so they are there to remind me of her.

Sad to see her go. She so wanted to be more active yet she struggled the last few years. We served on the Board of Trustees at Evergreen Unitarian Universalist Fellowship together and were both involved in Religious Education (what it was called back then). She wrote her own curriculum on the Interconnected Web Of All Existence for school aged kids. She poured her heart and soul into teaching in every aspect of her life. Thank you, Gabriele for your efforts to heal the world. To her family, my warmth and best wishes for peace.

Gabriele was a champion and cheerleader for my peace project "Woven Voices Messages from the Heart ".

I'm saddened to learn of her untimely passing from this physical realm. I have no doubt she will be guiding us with peace and light from beyond the veil.

I was surprised and saddened to see this obituary. I worked with Gabrielle at KSER. I was impressed by her kindness and relentlessly positive attitude, even in the face of her health and physical challenges. She was very supportive others as well--including myself. My deepest condolences to her family.

It made me quite sad to learn your mother has passed. I knew you and her from Unity Center for Positive Living. Your mother was a Sunday School teacher when I was the Sunday School Leader.  I remember her smile and laugh and all the wonderful Sunday School lessons we taught you and the children. I was impressed by her later accomplishments and heard her on KSER frequently.

What sad news. She was an absolutely wonderful person who made a huge impact on the trajectory of my life. I will always and forever be grateful for her.

I knew your mother via KSER. We would chat overlapping  on thursday nights for many months.

Gabriele  would always be editing on the program/ interviews she was producing. I do not remember how long these evening chats would go…many many months.

I knew Gabriele had medical concerns, however life was always the issue; challenges, projects of interest, & to finish this edit &get onto another interview.

I last remember a story she did on the Roma in France…

Gabriele mentioned you now & again. I was so glad you were apart of her life. Perhaps you know more than I how our" Mother’s kindnesses" stay with us as a blessing [from them to us] as our lives continues.

Mostly her smile, patience, and always ready to pause her work & catch up with ‘how has your week been?   This kindness she extended to me will bless me as I remember her.

I will carry Gabriele’s smile & kindness to me for several days…I was in the room where she edited just last night…Next time at KSER I will sit in her chair and have an overdue chat with her.

I am glad I got to know your Mother a bit. Lucky me, real folks giving others a voice and an opportunity to tell their story…That is what your Mother was doing in that small production room, all by herself. She was giving folks a hand up, not a hand out.

Bravo Gabriele. Adalandte’ [forward].
